The SFGA was incorporated under Maine law in 1958, however its roots go all the way back to the 1940's. We are a not-for-profit organization. Currently, SFGA is over 1200 members strong and growing! The club has a 52 position World Class Pistol Range, 25, 50 and 100 yard covered utility ranges and a 600 yard High Power Rifle Range. The club also offers Archery, 5-Stand, Sporting Clays, Wobble Trap, Skeet, standard Trap Fields, Tactical Games, and IDPA pistol ranges. On Sundays the Indoor Range is open to the public, all welcome, from 9am–2pm, January thru April. A number of competitions for various disciplines are scheduled throughout the year. In addition, firearm safety and hunter education courses open to the public are held at scheduled times.
